We are a Female only Small Group Personal Training Gym in Larne.

At BeFIT our goal is to INSPIRE you to make positive lifestyle changes. We provide all the education, support and motivation you will need along with an AMAZING COMMUNITY  of like-minded, encouraging and supportive women.

Founder, Andrea Kernohan
Bridget von Hammersmark
With over 18 years of professional experience in the fitness industry, Andrea is passionate about seeing people live their best lives as the best version of themselves.

Her energy is directed towards the general operations of the BeFIT Studio in Larne, strategic vision/planning, instructor training and development, product creation, and marketing.

Andrea enjoys working out, dancing, cosy nights in and girls night out with a glass (or 2) of prosecco!

Theresa loves fitness and her perfect session at BeFIT would include RDL's, any cable machine exercise, lying leg curls and hip thrusts!  

Theresa has been a member since early 2015 and during this time she lost 5 stone in weight.  She then followed up on her love of everything BeFIT by becoming a qualified Zumba instructor in 2020, a Fitness Instructor and also a STRONG Nation instructor in 2021.

She is passionate about helping members find a place where they belong and can grow stronger - body, mind and soul - and this motivates her to give 100% each day.  She will gently push you beyond what you think are your limits and she is committed to helping you step outside your comfort zone and closer to your goals.  Expect big tunes and lots of energy.

She loves dancing, black coffee and musical theatre.

Simone joined BeFIT as a member following the birth of her second child in 2020; having struggled with pregnancy weight gain and balancing life with young kids. 
Since joining BeFIT, Simone has not only rediscovered her love of fitness and strength training, but also a community of strong, inspiring women.
BeFIT has helped her to love her post-partum body and in 2022 she became a coach so that she might help other women do the same.
Simone loves a sweaty Tabata session, dance parties with her girls and singing terribly to the car radio.

Melanie’s passion for an active lifestyle is evident in everything she does. She has been a dedicated member of BeFIT for 11 years and officially joined the team in 2024.

As a busy wife and mum, Melanie cherishes her downtime—whether she’s paddleboarding, walking her dogs, or unwinding at her caravan with family and friends, enjoying BBQs and a few drinks. She believes in the importance of balance and is grateful for time spent in nature and with the people she loves.

Christine has always had a passion for exercise. Starting back in her school days playing for the school netball team and Larne eagles.
She was once shy and lacked confidence but exercise brought out a different side to her.

Being part of the BeFIT team for 11 years Christine has found her passion for helping others and her confidence in herself has grown so much because of this.

Christine’s favourite form of exercise is weight training and is how she got her nickname 'The Squat Queen'!

Kathryn's love is weightlifting and EMOM’s. She joined BeFIT as a member in 2020 and her strength has skyrocketed since, as well as losing over a stone along the way.

Kathryn joined the team as a fitness instructor in 2022 and has a passion for helping women make positive and lasting changes to their overall health.

In her free time, Kathryn enjoys sailing, going to cinema and nights out with friends.

Jo’s love for fitness shines through her enthusiasm for a good burn or Hyrox finisher. 
She believes that the key to a great workout is finding the perfect balance between effort and fun. 

Jo joined BeFit in 2023 to use strength training alongside her running. In 2024 she became part of the team as a fitness instructor, bringing her passion for health and fitness to every session. 
Jo feels privileged to be able to work alongside incredible individuals that work together to reach their goals, feel stronger than ever and enjoy the process along the way. 

When she’s not in the gym, Jo enjoys running, walks on the beach and spending quality time with friends and family.
